Spring Hotel Vulcano

Lovely hotel at a very good location. Modern, nicely decorated for Christmas. Polite staff, good choice for breakfast and dinner. Christmas dinner was something out of this world( been to many hotels, but Xmas dinner now will be hard to match). Not sure if it is always like this but we were the youngest in the hotel(43&47)during the first part of holidays and only later some other younger people joined us. The average age was 60's 😁 This hotel is not orientated to children but for us it was perfect- no screaming and shouting and our girl had fun in the pool by Herself and her cousin🤣 I wanted to book Spring Hotel Bitacora at first but now I am thinking that I made an excellent choice . That said, I might try it out next time just because of the All nclusive service Bitacora provides. It was a nice quiet stay so if you expect something like Turkey, eith music around the pool, kids disco and shows, this hotel is not for you. We were half board and 4 days we ate at the pool bar and were never disappointed. Good food and reasonable prices. We didn't book UP option because we were with the kids( it's for 18+)but if I ever come without them- I will try it out! Pros: Very good location Modern hotel Heated pools( wheelchair friendly) Good food and service Cons: No shampoo in a room! It's a first for me 🙈 The tiles in the pool (mosaic) need replacement. My daughter filled probably half of the carrier bag from the bottom saw of the pool🤣 All in all- perfect stay and believe me, I am picky. It is one of the hotels I would recommend to my friends and family

The changes regarding evening meal didn’t live up to my expectations they are not alacart the meals served were cold vegetables were not good either we went out quiet a few times And the bacon at breakfast was all stuck together you could hardly get a slice of bacon to separate it was overcooked just looked awfull We stayed in Up which we enjoy The snacks were okay but sometimes again not hot British guests like food hot We have enjoyed for many years coming to this hotel and will come back but things have to improve

I love this hotel. I have stayed four times. The staff I met - Adriana, Francisco and Fabiola were charming, helpful, patient and courteous and very friendly. The ambience of the the hotel is calm. The public rooms are elegant. It is kept very clean and the planting is beautiful My room was spacious and well equipped

Lovely clean hotel and staff were very friendly. Pool area is very clean and heated pools were nice. Plenty of sunbeds but some do need replacing. Outdoor Spa pool was like getting into a hot bath. Pool bar has a good menu and food was good. Restaurant in hotel is very clean, bright and modern. We were B&B only and the breakfast has to be the best we have experienced on holiday. Sports bar has several TV's with different channels. Bar service was great and again staff very friendly. We had 2 standard rooms. Clean, modern but small and balcony faced onto street so could hear a bit of noise but nothing that caused us any issues. You have to pay a daily rate for the safe and if you want tea & coffee replenished which for a 4 star I think should be included in the price. The location of the hotel is fabulous. We would definitely stay at the Volcano again.

The hotel is as comfortable as ever---our???? time here. BUT the food really has gone downhill. The evening meals were awful. Why no cold meat at salad bar? Soup tasted the same every nigh- bland. Why only Canarian potatoes on 1 night?? We were UP! again which had improved slightly with hot food. Probably last visit here--which is a shame as I love the UP pool.
